Meet Tabasco, a small but resilient pup, weighing in at around 15 lbs, who has come a long way from her tough beginnings. Much like the spicy sauce she’s named after, Tabasco has a spark of spirit that shines through once she’s comfortable, though it’s wrapped in a quiet, sweet demeanor.
When she first arrived, Tabasco was scared and unsure of the world around her, with her fur severely matted. But just like a well-crafted sauce, it took time, care, and the right ingredients of patience and kindness for her to transform into the loving companion she is today. While she prefers a calm, peaceful home where she can feel secure, Tabasco still enjoys moments of fun—especially when it involves a game of fetch. She’s ready for a family that understands her gentle heart but still knows how to keep things playful, tossing a ball for her to chase. Due to her past Tabasco feels as though she needs to protect things that are hers, she will need an adopter who understands this and is willing to work with her on it.
