Meet Jolene – A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold!

“Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene… please don’t take your love away from me!”?

Jolene is a magnificent 5-year-old Great Dane with a soft silver Harlequin coat, weighing in at around 100 pounds, and likely to fill out by another 20 pounds. This sweet girl spent too much time on a chain, under the South Texas sun in the Rio Grande Valley, before her former family surrendered her to us. They wanted more for her than they could give, and so do we.

Since joining rescue, Jolene has blossomed! She’s received the royal treatment: a spay, gastropexy to protect her from bloat, and the removal of mammary tumors. She’s as healthy as she is beautiful, and everyone who meets her is absolutely smitten with her gentle and affectionate nature.

Jolene has the spirit of a song and the soul of a gentle giant. She’s the dog who’ll melt your heart with her soft eyes, lean in for hugs, and turn every ordinary day into a sweet melody. All she needs now is a forever family who’ll adore her as much as she’ll adore them.

The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $595.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.

Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $76.00)
