What RESCUED looks like ❤️
I was incarcerated Monday October 14th. It was all new smells for me. Lots of other dogs. Then Friday November 8th a lot more incoming dogs including 7 abandoned puppies and 9 adult dogs. Then over the weekend 2 more adults came in. Monday was a holiday Veterans Day. It was a lot of work for the staff to take care of all of us. It was very noisy but I took it all in stride. I hoped something better would happen and it did!
These two rescue groups came in Tuesday when the shelter opened back up and pulled some of the dogs. It really helped the staff and the other dogs like me.
Then Thursday November 14th I was the lucky one to leave with Save1Pet!
Nyx is about a year old, weighs 37 pounds perfect lap size. She spent a month at our local shelter before being rescued. She’s now in a foster home doing well with her new furiends both cats and dogs. She’s got a lot of energy and is very treat motivated, so learning quickly. She already knew a few commands.
She did very well at PetSmart meeting new people and pets.
Her adoption fee is $150.
Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.
Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification.

Save1Pet, Inc., formed in 2004 in Olive Branch MS, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and is a support organization to assist the local animal shelters with increasing adoptions and public awareness regarding the responsibilities of caring for domestic animals.
