Davidson grabbed the attention of hundreds, shaking and shutdown in the OKC shelter, awaiting his scheduled euthanasia. He wouldn’t even look at the foster when he was first saved. Within 2 hours, he was a CHANGED BOY seeking affection and reassurance.
Davey Bones 🏴☠️ has been through so much, and is so deserving of love! He has undergone heartworm treatment and is eager for his forever family 🖤
Davidson needs a family willing to be patient and respect his boundaries. He is very fearful of the car and being forced into tight spaces and hesitant with new people. He requires reassurance, confident but respectful handling, and some trazadone before car rides and the vet for good measure. An experienced dog owner with no kids under the age of 10 in the home would be best. He does well with other calm dogs with proper introductions and can be cat tested if needed. He is fixed, vaccinated, crate trained, and housebroken.

Our animals are first seen through social media or adoptions events. Once an adopter falls in love, We provide our adoption application. Once filled out we call references, vets if listed, and call the adopter to ask a few questions to see if they are a right match for the animal. From there the application is approved and meet and greets are scheduled. We allow trial adopts to make sure everything is perfect and if all is perfect we finalize adoption and collect adoption fee.

We place animals in foster homes through our program to provide a solid road to recovery awhile being fully health cleared and spay/neuter to help end the cycle of euthanizing for space in our local shelter.
