My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

juniper is such a love bug, she loves to cuddle on the couch with you, or curl up on a blanket to take a good nap, she loves treat time and knows to be gentle when taking treats. she loves the water, loves baths so much she’ll jump in the tub empty and wait for you to notice and run a bath for her- she has some goofy traits so sometimes she’ll just dig and splash in all the water she finds, which can be messy. she has puppy energy so she loves to get out and get in lots of exercise in the yard, she loves to play with other doggy companions, she loves to run and play fetch with toys or sticks, she always takes a good chew toy she can curl up with in her crate as well. the only issue we’ve had is she can’t be around cats. She will be spayed before being adopted.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
