Meet Slush! 🐾 This 4-year-old, 10-pound bundle of energy is looking for his forever home.

Slush is an active boy and full of joy. He loves squeaky toys and playing fetch. He would love space to run around and loves to chase balls! 🎾He is a great little walker🐕, although he does sometimes get over stimulated when he sees other doggy friends on walks.

He is a nervous little guy still learning he is safe now. He needs time to warm up to new friends but once he learns you’re part of the pack he’s your buddy!

Slush is crate trained and is working hard on potty training with occasional accidents. He is dog friendly with proper slow introductions. He would be happiest in an adult only home.

This boy just wants a loving patient adopter to help him gain confidence and learn what the good life is all about. 🏡❤️

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
