Meet Lucy!

Lucy and her brother Ricky (The Richardos dynamic duo!) came to us as a owner relinquishment. Unwanted and not in a very good environment these 2 adorable siblings came to us a little neglected and withdrawn back in October. Its been almost 2 months and you'd never know they had some trust issues with humans shy and worried being approached. We are so happy to say as of 11/19/24 these 2 have done a 180 and are now THE most affectionate, loving and full of joy teens. Especially Lucy, if you are looking for that 'feel good' personality of a dog who wants nothing but to give you kisses and has ZERO human boundries then this gal is the one for you. She is just a total love bug!
She is also pretty amazing with dogs and currently staying at casa de ARWOB for lack of foster parents her foster siblings and friends are Benji, Spector, Mocha, Cici and of course her brother whom she adores Ricky. Her kitty friends are Chester, Neeko and Newt also availalbe for adoption.

Lucy is house and potty trained, although she does have access to the yard and of course plenty of toys for her and her dog friends to share. If she was in an apartment setting home she would need have frequent potty breaks to continue on the good path. She is also really great in her crate.
Lucy has done great on leash walking and car rides just like her brother. She has no formal training and we would love an adopter who is seeking to adopt a dog who will be enrolling into basic 101 dog training for her to grow up and have better manners. Lucy is a people pleaser and aims to please. She would be great in a home with other dogs or not but we know she would thrive and want to live a life where having dog friends is a must as she enjoys playtime with dog friends.

Ricky, her brother looks just like a pitbull mix so we assume Lucy will also have some Pit in her and for that reason her adoption fee has been lowered as its much harder for the bully breeds to find homes. We are looking for adopters who have NO proble with the breed and are seeking a perfect medium size breed. Lucy enjoys playing with toys and is easily entertained on her own as well.

To adopt, foster or request a foster to adopt trial for Lucy please submit an application online at ARWOB.org and don't forget to check out all her adorable current videos.

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
