Hello, I'm Hillside! I'm a beautiful DSH female orange tabby with a bit of marbling in my coat. I was born around 4/21/23 in Roswell, New Mexico, and while I am shy at first, I have so much love to give once I feel safe and comfortable. New people, new places and new roommates can make me nervous, so I might start out hiding in my safe space when I'm overwhelmed. I like to enjoy the action from up high so I will need a spot to call my own when I am needing my quiet time. But if you're slow and gentle on the approach, a few cheek rubs are all I need to start leaning in for pets, purring loudly, and even making biscuits with my paws. My trust has grown exponentially, and all I want is my own human to share their gentle protection and love with me. I am now seeking out attention, but I'm not quite ready to be held yet. I'd be happiest in a calm, stable, quiet home without any other pets to stress me out. An experienced cat lover who understands that, will help me blossom into the confident kitty I know I can be. I may be ok with gentle teenagers (14+) in the home who can be patient with my shy nature. My visit with the doc stated my right elbow is fused in a flexed position, probably from an old injury. I get around fine so I don't seem to be in pain. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive kitty, who needs extra love and attention to truly shine, I think we'd be a great match. With a bit of time and kindness, I'll be your loyal little companion, purring my heart out right by your side. Could you be the person to help me come out of my shell? Please apply online at www.wbcats/adopt to meet me.
