Meet Charlie! 🐾 This adorable 1-year-old pup weighs around 6 pounds and has a heart full of love. ❤️ Previously used as a breeder, Charlie is now ready for a forever home where he can be cherished. 🥺 He's a happy boy who gets along with everyone and makes a fantastic lap dog. 🐶 Charlie is well-behaved in his crate but still has some consistent accidents and marking, so he'll need continued potty training—belly bands work great for him. 🚽
Charlie is still learning about toys and is new to leash training, so he’ll need some more exposure. 🎾 He absolutely loves running around a fenced backyard and enjoys sniffing around with supervision. He has a great recall and comes back when called. 🏃♂️ Although he's a picky eater, with a bit of patience and love, Charlie is sure to thrive in his new home. 🍖
Charlie’s journey has been a bit rough, but his spirit remains unbroken. Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Operation Freedom Ride, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer driven organization that rescues dogs (and cats, too). Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
