My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet beautiful Fat Man!! He may not actually be a fat man, but we can tell you that he has the biggest fattest heart! This boy is all wiggles and all cuddles- he loves to love and be loved and is looking for an owner that can cuddle him for life. He is very treat motivated so while he is a young boy, he is very trainable and eager to learn! Fat Man is excitedly waiting for someone to come grab him from the shelter. Could it be you?

Fat Man is available for adoption and foster at ACCT Philly. You can meet him any day from 10am-6pm. Interested fosters should email foster@acctphilly.org!

Behavior:
Per volunteer 12/11 - Fat man with a fat heart full of energy! I don’t think his tail and butt stopped wiggling the entire time we were together. He loves treats and toys! He would thrive with anyone who would play with him. He even showed how smart he was with his enrichment toy! And I mean, look at those ears….how could you not want to take him home?!

Per Volunteer 12/9/24:
Fat Man is such a sweetie!! He was sleeping soundly in his kennel when I first approached him, then he saw that someone was watching and popped right up! He was pretty jumpy and excited- he seems like he’s on the younger side. I had to hold my leash up high so that his paws didn’t get caught while leashing since he was jumping so much! Such an excited boy- loves to romp around and chase toys in the play yard. Doesn’t fetch them back. He takes treats nicely for the most part, but sometimes a little snatchy. I brought him into the volunteer office and he met several different people and was super wiggly and loose with all of them! He Initiated pets with everyone and is a super affectionate boy. Very treat motivated and knows sit! No issues getting back in
