Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Motley: Your Future Partner in Mischief!
"Hey there, I’m Motley, a 6-month-old Catahoula mix with 34.2 lbs of energy, charm, and just the right amount of chaos to keep life interesting! If you’re looking for a dog who loves attention as much as a toddler in a superhero cape, I’m your guy.
Playtime? That’s my jam. Other dogs? They’re my squad. I’m basically the life of the dog park, and I’m looking for a human who can keep up with my boundless enthusiasm. My dream home includes toys, treats, belly rubs, and someone who appreciates my creative interpretation of leash walking.
For $110, you can take home this playful masterpiece! My adoption fee covers vaccines (including rabies—I’m brave like that), a vet exam, neuter, and all the basics to keep me happy and healthy. Call 256-362-5856 to set up a meet-and-greet. Let’s make life pawsitively fun together!"

More about this shelter
We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
