My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 1 year
Weight: 3.71 kg

Smart, playful, loving and incredibly sweet are all words that have been used to describe the lovely Stella, and she would be more than happy to prove it to you! This wonderful little lady is searching for an active forever home that will be able to provide lots of cuddles, interactive playtime and enrichment. She came into our care with another cat, so she may do well with your resident feline after a slow introduction period! There aren`t enough good things to say about her, so you may as well come see her for yourself!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
