Meet Monte! This handsome 2 year old guy came to us from another local rescuer. Monte didn`t have a home while he was growing up, and relied on local friendly people to feed him and help him survive without a family to keep him safe and loved. Because of this, he is still learning to trust people, and can be a little shy and reserved at first. Monte is a very quiet and sweet boy, he just needs someone to give him a chance and allow him some time and space to open up. Monte would do best in a quiet kind of home without small children so that he can have the space he needs to adjust. Monte is also considered one of our special needs adoptions, because he is FIV positive, meaning he may be more prone to getting kitty colds in the future. This diagnosis is not holding him back in any way and he hopes it won`t hold you back from giving him a chance! If you want to be the one to show Monte what it`s like to finally have a loving family and cozy bed to curl up in at night, we know it would mean the world to him! You can apply to take Monte home at capeannanimalaid.org/catapp
