My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Potty Trained: About 80% potty trained and working on it daily
Crate Trained: She feels safe and loves her crate!
Dog Friendly: Gets along great with other dogs.
Learning Tricks: She's almost mastered "sit and is eager to learn more!

Kona is more than just a good dog-she's the perfect mix of playful and calm. She loves human attention, snuggles like a pro, and has a sweet, gentle personality that makes her a joy to have around. Whether you're out on a walk or relaxing at home, Kona will be your loyal best friend every step of the way.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
