Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mary, who is about a year old, offers an irresistible blend of sweetness and playfulness. She was rescued from the streets pregnant with her second litter of kittens. She raised her six kittens in foster care and after they were weaned, she was moved to another room to recover. She's now been spayed and fully vetted and ready to be a spoiled, loved princess in a furever home. Her friendly demeanor is infectious, and she never fails to brighten up the room. Mary is a smart, playful, curious kitty, who is a quick learner and loves to explore. A nurturing soul, Mary was a doting mother to her kittens, teaching them the art of making biscuits. Cuddling is her second nature, offering comfort and warmth to anyone who needs it. Adopting Mary means inviting a bundle of love and happiness into your life. She's ready to be your loyal companion, offering loads of purrs and cuddles. She can be a tiny bit shy with new people for the first few minutes, but as soon as she knows you are a nice person, she will climb right up onto your chest and make biscuits and she will give you good snuggles at bedtime, then settle down by your legs for the night. She also loves to play with all kinds of toys. She would do fine with another kitty after a proper introduction. Her favorite things to do when not snuggling or playing with toys are looking out the window and eating treats.

Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.
Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
Adoption Fees:
• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
