My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buck`s Compatibility:
Dogs - Meet & Greet
Cats - Nah, Buck`s not a fan
Kids - Yes, 13+

Are you looking for an extra shadow to follow you everywhere? Meet Buck! This sweet, velcro dog loves being close to his people more than anything. Whether you`re lounging on the couch, running errands, or just moving around the house, Buck is right there beside you, ready to offer endless companionship and love.

When he’s not keeping you company, Buck is all about playtime. He loves toys and will happily engage in a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. But at the end of the day, all he really wants is to be by your side, soaking up all the attention and affection you have to offer.

Buck came to us as a stray, but he’s quickly proven to be a loyal, affectionate companion who’s eager to become your new best friend. If you’re looking for a dog who will be your constant sidekick and always be there when you need a cuddle, Buck is the one for you. Come meet him today!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
