My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

ROBIN

Meet Reuben, a 2-3 year-old, 70 lb Chocolate Lab with a heart full of love and devotion! Reuben is an affectionate companion who thrives on attention and interaction. He’s crate trained but prefers to only be in his crate at bedtime, as he loves being close to his family during the day.

Reuben is housebroken and has an intelligent, quick-to-learn nature. He would excel in an active household that can provide him with the exercise and mental stimulation he craves. Without enough activity, this playful pup can get bored and find his own ways to entertain himself, which sometimes leads to a little mischief.

If you're looking for a smart, loving, and loyal friend who just needs some extra attention and continued training, Reuben could be your perfect match!

More about this rescue

We provide adoption services in NY, NJ, CT, RI, NH, and ME.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can.
