Hi my name is Mandy! I was rescued with my brother from a Benita shelter where we had ringworm. I’ve been in the foster program with Smittens for awhile due to various stages of ringworm and an upper respiratory infection. But I’m recovered and doing well! I’m a sweet, cuddly girl, I get along with other cats, and I love to play. I am so eager to find a home to finally call my own!

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
