Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bruiser is a medium-energy male dog who is calm and easy to leash. He takes treats gently and knows how to sit. While he has a moderate reaction to other dogs, his strong treat motivation will make training easier. He constantly demonstrates that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Bruiser's gentle nature and eagerness to learn makes him a great companion for someone willing to continue his training journey.
During playgroups, the volunteers noted that his white face may suggest SENIOR, but his spirit was SPUNK. Bruiser came rushing in full speed and ready to play. He is a high energy, eager player who really loved some rough and tumble play. Would suggest matching him with a tolerant female with a similar energy, because he could overwhelm a gentler dog.
If you're interested in learning more about Bruiser, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Bruiser 253531."
Bruiser is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 58 Age: 8yrs 2mths 0wks
