Look at how regal I am in my model photo here - fitting that I'm named "Queenie," huh? But don't be totally fooled by my name - I'm a sweet girl who loves to have fun and be around people. I would thrive in a home where my humans can spend some letting me stretch my legs outside and maybe teach me some new tricks. I already sit like a perfect lady for treats, but I'm also very smart and a real people pleaser, so if you wanted to work on new things together, I know I'd pick them up in no time. Come meet me and see if I'm the crowning touch for your family.

A team member says, "Queenie is the sweetest. She LOVES people and is friendly to other dogs she meets on her walks. She's a happy girl - her tail is always wagging. It's fun to watch her run around the park with those long legs, but the absolute best thing is getting Queenie kisses - she'll gently put her paws on your shoulders and cover you in kisses."

Adoptions are completed on a first come, first served basis. Please note there may be a wait to meet with a pet, dependent on advisor availability.

Please allow plenty of time to meet your perfect pet. Once you have selected a pet, the adoption process will take at least 30 minutes. We do not begin the adoption process after 5:30 pm.

Animal Humane New Mexico performs a background check on all adopters & does not adopt to anyone who has committed a violent crime. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption for any reason.

Please note, visitors must wear their mask indoors at all Animal Humane locations.
