Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Duke is a 9 year old, 70 lb Black Mouth Cur mix. Although he is considered a senior, he sure doesn't act like a senior! He loves going for walks and car rides. Duke is the perfect gentleman with a sweet, calm disposition. He is compassionate, comforting and loyal. Duke is housetrained and knows how to use the doggie door. He loves to sit by his people when they are home, but when alone, he is content with a comfy spot to hang out. He likes to look out the window to observe what's going on in the neighborhood, and he will let you know if there is someone or something outside but not in an annoying way. Duke gets along with the other large and small dogs in his foster home. The first step to meeting sweet Duke is to submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.
Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
