My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are looking to rehome our sweet 3-year-old (13 lb) miniature schnauzer to a loving family with no small children.

She’s a smart and affectionate lapdog who loves cuddles and belly rubs. She gets along great with other dogs, learns tricks easily, and is eager to please.

She requires daily medications for seizures, anxiety, and nerve pain. She is very excitable (barks and hyper-focuses) on strange dogs and people, but is responsive to positive training methods and has been through many training and dog socialization courses. She does not like being picked up without consent, so we have taught her a command to jump into your lap instead. She will nip/bite when scared.

She has become very jealous of our 6 year old and has been especially anxious/excitable when young friends are over. For this reason, we're hoping to find a family without children who can give her the love and attention she needs. She does not need much daily exercise and is happy just being near her people.
