Meet Hemi, the sweetest shepherd/lab mix puppy who’s ready to find his forever family! Hemi was rescued in Georgia and has made his way to New York, where he’s now looking for his perfect home. Hemi is being fostered with two other dogs and is doing great with them.

Hemi is full of puppy energy and curiosity, always eager to explore and doing very well with his manners and potty training. With his friendly personality he enjoys the simple pleasures in life zooming around, snuggling up with his loved ones and eating his food which he loves! An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
