Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT INDIE! 🐾
Indie has the most beautiful sparkly blue eyes, which will look amazing with her flame point markings once they come in. Not only is this girl beautiful, but she's funny and very social! She loves everyone she meets and knows how to put on the charm.
She spends her days wrestling WWE style with her best friend, Poppy. They never tire of practicing all their pouncing, running, jumping and slam-dunking skills. She would absolutely love to be adopted with Poppy! They adore each other! Indie can be found running through the house at top speeds chasing after any of the cats who are up for a game. She has a crush on one of her foster brothers, Uncle Piglet, and will walk alongside him until he plops down to give her a thorough grooming session. She just lays there blissfully enjoying her bath!
Indie is probably one of the most perfect kittens you will ever have the pleasure of meeting! She's active, playful, cheerful, cuddly and just a delight to have around! She loves getting involved in her foster mom's activities and will often try to help out.
** Indie MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with her for ½ the adoption fee!) She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **
Indie does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. She does well with respectful, gentle children, and she is litter box trained.
Indie will melt your heart with her sweet face and gorgeous blue eyes! You just can’t help but fall in love! 🏠💕

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
