What have we here?
Meet Oogie Boogie! Oogie Boogie is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). We are currently taking applications for Oogie Boogie, and he will be able to go home with an adopter after his neuter surgery in mid-December.
“I’m gonna do the best I can”, says Oogie Boogie in the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, and our pup embodies that spirit. Born on October 25, 2024, gentle Oogie Boogie is a young fawn and gray colored puppy with darker muzzle markings. We guess he is a labrador mix who will be in the 40-60 lb. range when grown (mama is quite petite). Part of the Nightmare Before Christmas litter, he traveled with his mom and four siblings from the Del Rio Animal Shelter in Texas to find new homes in the PNW area.
Adventurous Oogie Boogie has a lot to say and a lot to do! The curious and unofficial leader of the pack is already playing with toys and checking out the world beyond his pen. Our Oogie Boogie is determined to do things first and to the best of his abilities; he was the first to eat puppy mush and drink water. Oogie Boogie loves to romp with his siblings, he loves to be in the middle of the puppy pile, and he loves to cuddle and snuggle. Oogie Boogie is a very affectionate pup, and he isn’t shy about letting you know when he feels he needs some attention.
Oogie Boogie is a very young puppy and is settling into a foster home with his mother and siblings. He has started potty training and will begin leash and obedience training shortly. In the meantime, Oogie Boogie is spending his days getting lots of cuddles, playtime, love, and new adventures with his foster family. Oogie Boogie is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for his new home.
Oogie Boogie’s ideal home? He seeks someone to love who will love him in return and will ensure he learns the skills that will make him a happy and well-rounded dog. Oogie Boogie would do well in a home with kids, dogs, and cats; lots of cuddles, play, and activity would make him the happiest of pups. Does this sound like your home?
