My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Carrot

Despite being a bit timid at first, he LOVES attention. Carrot likes to be up high to see his surroundings and can jump to get there. We suggest a good secured back yard for his furever home .

Carrot is a year old and is a terrier mix. He will need the assistance of his new family to continue potty, leash & kennel training.

Carrot is current on vaccines, microchipped and his neuter is scheduled. He gets along with all sized dogs and humans, we are unsure of cats.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
