Stefan’s a little bit mysterious, with a lot of soul!
Stefan is a kitten with a piercing gaze who is highly aware of his surroundings. When he’s not being dramatic (or sleeping) he can be found playing or in a cuddle-puddle with his roommates.
ABOUT STEFAN: -At shelter -Kitten, domestic shorthair (black), male -Stefan arrived from another shelter with siblings Damon and Elena. -Kittens, like Stefan, have lots of energy! -He is playful. He loves to play when people aren’t in the room, and will engage with wand or dangling toys as long as he doesn’t have a lot of competition to hunt it. -Stefan is slowly gaining confidence being with humans. -Stefan is currently enrolled in EHS`s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help Stefan become more comfortable around people. -With a calm and patient approach, Stefan will allow some volunteers’ hands to gently touch his paws, but is still a bit timid to be pet by hand. - Stefan is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
STEFAN’S IDEAL HOME: -Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their humans. -It is important that Stefan either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with one of his siblings or another compatible shelter animal. -A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children. -Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Stefan settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Stefan with a successful transition to his forever home.
Slow and steady will win Stefan’s heart. Is this you? If so, drop by EHS today to meet him!
