Beetle is a 1-year-old female cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This curious little explorer is always on the lookout for new adventures. She loves to spend time around you, especially when you're cooking in the kitchen. She's incredibly talkative, so be prepared for plenty of conversation as she meows her way through the day. When she's not chatting, Beetle is all about cuddles. She loves to snuggle up and make herself at home in your lap.

Silly, sweet, and full of energy, Beetle will bring endless joy and warmth to any home. If you are looking for a loving companion who will keep you entertained and never leave your side, Beetle is the one for you!

1.
Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
