My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Simba, a 4-month-old bundle of joy with a heart as big as his lion-sized dreams. Part of the "Lion King kitten litter, Simba was born to be a king - and he certainly has the personality to match. With his adorable features, Simba is the spitting image of his momma, a beautiful and loving cat who's as graceful as she is strong. If you see Simba, you'll quickly notice the striking resemblance - they could be twins!

Simba's favorite pastime is looking out the window, where he watches the world go by with an intense curiosity. Whether it's birds fluttering by, leaves blowing in the wind, or the occasional squirrel scampering across the yard, Simba is fascinated by everything outside. He'll sit for hours, his eyes wide with wonder, dreaming of grand adventures in the great outdoors.

When he's not gazing at the world through the glass, Simba is all about playtime. Toys? He's all in. From crinkly balls to feather wands, this little guy is ready to pounce, chase, and purr his way into your heart. He has endless energy and would love a family who enjoys interactive play and the joy of watching a kitten in action.

Simba may be small, but he's got a big heart, and he's ready to share it with a forever family. Whether he's cuddling up for a nap or entertaining you with his playful antics, Simba is sure to bring love and laughter to your home.

Could you be the one to give Simba his throne? He's waiting for someone to join him in his adventures - both the ones outside the window and the ones in your heart.

Adoption fee is $150

God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
