Nelly is a 9-month-old 10lb Terrier Mix. She is a smaller girl who is super cute. Nelly would benefit in a quiet home where she is able to get lots of love & socialization. She is startled by loud noises & weary of strangers but once she warms up, she is your best friend. Nelly becomes a very happy go lucky girl & playful once she in comfortable in her new home. She does well with other dogs & is good with cats. This sweet girl has so much love to share. Apply to meet her today!
If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes.
If an animal is posted, they are VERY likely available. Please fill out an adoption application to get the best chance at being considered rather than contacting directly.
If you are interested in adopting & think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you & your family. Once that is complete & we've approved your application, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life!!

More about this rescue
Volunteers in Defense of Animals (VIDA) is a 501c3 and consists of a small group of volunteers and a network of foster homes. We help find homes for homeless dogs and cats, care and protect neglected and abused animals. We are working to end the suffering and mistreatment of dogs and cats in Southern California. We bring spay and neuter services to areas where families cannot afford them; we facilitate the rescue, foster care, and adoption of animals whenever possible, and we offer education and support to those involved in the care of animals.
