My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snow Bird, a delightful adult canine with a heart full of love. She`s a bit shy at first, but give her a moment to warm up, and her playful spirit shines through. Snow Bird loves a good game of fetch, and her sweet demeanor is sure to melt your heart. When playtime is over, she`s all about the cuddles. She loves nothing more than to snuggle up close, offering comfort and companionship. Snow Bird is a dog who has so much love to give. Adopt Snow Bird, and you`ll gain a loyal friend who will shower you with affection, make you laugh with her playful antics, and be there for you with a comforting cuddle whenever you need it. She`s waiting to share her love with a family who will cherish her as much as she will them.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
