My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lentil, a sweet and people-centric little shadow cat who is highly motivated by both your company and snack time. She adores sitting on laps and engaging in playtime. While she's happy to play with various objects, her absolute favorite is anything attached to a string!

We believe Lentil will thrive as a solo cat, although she is still learning how to coexist with other furry four-legged companions. Lentil is coexisting well with the other kitties as they all get to know one another boundaries, and has had some dog exposure. We think she would happily coexist with a dog, if they are on the calmer side.

Due to occasional nippiness, we believe she would thrive most in a home without other pets, though, and preferably without young children. She's quite firm about her boundaries, especially when it comes to belly petting. Lentil would love a home with a patient individual who can provide her with the time to build trust, as she can be a bit uncertain around new people. If you're calm, patient, and understanding, she'll reveal her sweet and playful side. We suspect she may have been abandoned by her previous owners, but now appears genuinely grateful for the safety and comfort of indoor living.

Lentil thrives with a predictable routine and absolutely enjoys a daily play session to expend her energy. She's also an excellent hunter and takes care of any pesky, uninvited guests (bugs). Lentil is round and delightfully loaf-like! She'll even give you little chin kisses. Lentil is an incredibly warm and comforting lap companion. She's quite assertive in seeking attention if she feels it's lacking and anticipates it eagerly. Come and meet this fresh Lentil for yourself!
