Meet Helen, a sweet 1-year-old who came to us from Western North Carolina after a hurricane. This gentle soul has been through a lot as a former mom but is now ready for a fresh start. Helen would thrive in a quiet home and is okay as a single cat, though she enjoys the company of other cats too. With her loving nature, Helen is the perfect addition to a caring family.

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
