My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are in the market for an XL adorable dog, look no further! OSU Brutus was DNA tested, and he is indeed a mix of GSD and Great Pyrenees. What a combo! With that being said, I am looking for a home that has experience with guard dogs, because he has shown signs of these guarding tendencies, and a home that will be a great fit for him will be priority. He is house trained, crate trained, and is an all around great dog in the home. He loves playing with his toys, playing fetch, and a kiddie pool is something he finds entertaining on these hot summer days while outside. Because of his guarding tendencies, we are looking for a home with older children only. He should be fine with other dogs in the home with a proper introduction, but has not been around cats. I would love a 6ft fenced in yard for pottying and playtime If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy, please fill out an application at pawsandprayers.org. and feel free to email sswank1@gmail.com and let me know when it is submitted, and or if you have any questions.  His adoption fee is $200, and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm/flea/tick preventative.

More about this rescue

Our primary mission is to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for homeless cats and dogs. Our secondary goal is to make sure all of these animals are spayed or neutered. It is a big task, but we are ready! Paws and Prayers is based in the Northeast Ohio region. We operate as a non-profit, incorporated organization that functions solely on the efforts of foster homes and adoption volunteers.
