This beautiful girl sports an all-white, medium-length coat and soulful dark brown eyes. Sissy is steadily gaining weight and regaining her health after her time as a stray. Sissy is a calm and people-friendly companion who adores meeting new friends, especially children. She rides okay in cars, but wants to be in the front seat so she needs a restraint to keep her out of the driver’s lap. She walks well on a leash, but will pull when excited to get to a new scent. Her treat motivation makes training sessions a joy, and she's proven to be wonderfully sociable in the kennel, showing no signs of aggression towards other dogs. During park walks, Sissy demonstrates remarkable composure, peacefully ignoring other animals like ducks and squirrels. Fees for senior dogs (7 or older) and foster dogs will be adjusted accordingly.

Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
