Looking for a kitten with a big heart and tons of purrsonality? Then Phoenix is the one for you. This active and energetic kitten is 3 months old, and even though her back right leg is a little wonky, it doesn't hold this fearless feline back. Phoenix loves to climb and scamper, and just like any other kitten, she has tons of energy.

When she is not playing, snuggling humans and the other cats in her foster home or stealing the best perch on the cat tree are her favourite activities. Phoenix enjoys company and she needs an understanding owner who has time to be home with her for part of the day. You don't have to work from home, (although she would love that!) but someone who enjoys plenty of time spent at home would be a great fit for this loving and sweet girl. Bonus if you have other pets or humans that want to shower this special kitty with all the love.

Must adopt as a buddy to another cat.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
