Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Faith Family
A local animal volunteer was at a South LA shelter picking up cat food for strays in her neighborhood when she saw a woman driving a very expensive truck dumping a dog and her litter of two male and one female puppies. The woman said one of the puppies had tested positive for Parvo and one had already died at home.
The volunteer knew the dogs would all be euthanized immediately if given to the shelter, so she took them home to try home remedies which is very dangerous and risky because parvo is so deadly to puppies who do not receive early medical intervention. An AALOC Board Member saw a post on Facebook asking for help for the parvo family and she contacted the angel who saved them to offer the veterinary care they needed. Because of new medical advances in curing parvo, the family has now fully recovered and is part of the AALOC family of rescues ready for adoption.
The mom is a terrier mix named Faith. Her two male puppies were named Chance and Spirit, and the female puppy was named Grace.
Please complete an application to adopt Chance at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Chance and get to know him a bit.
