Meet Chirp, the feline songbird who always has something to say! This young, chatty cat lives up to her name with an endless repertoire of meows, chirps, and trills that will keep your home lively. Chirp is a social butterfly who adores attention and demands she get it. She has lived with several other cats before and would likely enjoy having a companion! Whether she`s serenading you during dinner or announcing her latest discovery, Chirp will bring joy, laughter, and some hilarious commentary to your life. Ready to adopt this little chatterbox? More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
