My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mark from HR is a friendly and compassionate kitten who’s all about fostering positive relationships—whether it`s with his siblings or your resident cat! He arrived with his crew and is looking for a home where he can grow, play, and receive plenty of attention. Mark is full of energy and loves interactive play, toys, and climbing adventures to keep him busy.

This social guy will thrive in a home that offers both playtime and cuddle time. He’ll enjoy being around people who can give him the love and care he needs to feel safe and secure.

If you’re looking for a kitten who’ll make a great addition to your team, Mark from HR is ready to join your family!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
