My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby is a gorgeous brown and white tabby with a gentle, loving personality that will melt your heart. This sweet girl may be a bit more on the quiet side at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be your loyal, affectionate companion, always ready for cuddles and cozy naps. Shelby loves to be near her people and will often follow you around, quietly asking for attention and affection.

How much does it cost to adopt?
Shelby`s adoption price is $50, with an additional $50 charge as she is already spayed. She was also vaccinated for rabies so she could go on area meet-and-greet visits, so a $23 charge has been added to cover the cost of the vaccine. The total cost to adopt is $158.

What else comes with adopting a pet from HHS?
All animals adopted from the Huron Humane Society receive a free vet visit from your choice of one of our three Alpena Veterinary clinic partners, as well as the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative treatments.
