My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a stunning young adult cat with a sleek, solid black coat that shines like velvet in the light. But there’s so much more to this gorgeous girl than her looks—she has a heart full of love, and she’s ready to share it with the perfect family! This sweet, gentle lady may be a bit on the shy side at first, but with patience and a little time, she’ll show you just how affectionate she truly is. Daisy loves being around people, and once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily curl up beside you for pets and quiet snuggles. She has a soft, calm demeanor and is content to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like basking in the sun, exploring her space, or playing with a few favorite toys.

How much does it cost to adopt?
Daisy`s adoption price is $50, with an additional $50 charge that covers the cost of having Daisy spayed when she came into our care.

What else comes with adopting a pet from HHS?
All animals adopted from the Huron Humane Society receive a free vet visit from your choice of one of our three Alpena Veterinary clinic partners, as well as the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative treatments.
She was also vaccinated for rabies so she) could go on area meet-and-greet visits, so a $23 charge has been added to cover the cost of the vaccine. The total cost to adopt is $158.
