Prince Charles is house-trained and crate-trained, though he’d much rather sleep snuggled up with his people. He’s friendly, outgoing, and adaptable, making him a joy to have around. While he’s an enthusiastic, playful guy, he's been fantastic with his current foster family's 4-year-old daughter, so he'd do well in a home with kids 4+ who are dog-savvy.
Previously, Prince Charles was in a foster home that thought he’d thrive with a fenced yard and more pups to play with. After doing well during a temporary stay over the holiday, Prince Charles has settled wonderfully into his current foster home, where he’s been great not just with their four dogs (playful with the younger one and chill with the older ones) but also with their young child. He’s proven himself to be both playful and cuddly—a perfect balance!
Prince Charles needs a home where he can get plenty of physical and mental stimulation, so an active household would be perfect for him—bonus points if you have another dog for him to play with!

His adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
