Meet Dewey! Dewey is currently looking for a foster or forever home.
Dewey is a 2 year old poodle mix with LOTS of love to give. He is 65 pounds, neutered, and fully vaccinated. His favorite things are playing fetch, his alligator toy, cheese, ice cubes, quiet adventures outdoors, and his rawhide-free chew before bed each night. When not chewing on toys or chasing balls, he is a big lover boy and enjoys a good snuggle in bed! Dewey needs a routine, and ideally would not be confined to a kennel for more than a few hours a day. He is very smart and learns VERY quickly. Dewey has lots of energy, and his ideal home will have plenty of space for him to run around and play fetch. He would likely thrive with another dog that he can play with and that can help show him the ropes. Dewey struggles with reactivity (not aggression) due to anxiety, but with medication and training he has made loads of progress, and there is no doubt he will continue to improve with consistent training.

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.
What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.
Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.
We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
