My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Available very soon!

Jody is an approximately 6 month-old, spayed, 36 pound Doberman/Greyhound mix. This little girl is perfection! Her deep brown eyes melt hearts, her happy ears spark joy, and her gentle, eager to please demeanor charms everyone she meets!

When the shelter manager at the County of Santa Clara Shelter reached out to us about Jody, we knew she was something special. Now that she has been in a foster home for bit? We cannot believe how special she is! Already housetrained and crate trained, eager to learn, loves to play with toys, does extremely well with her 4-legged foster brothers and sisters and happy to meet everyone.

Jody is already spayed, so we are just finishing up her vaccinations. She came to us with a leg injury after she slipped in her kennel, but she is doing well and should mend completely very soon. She already knows "Sit" and would love to go to training with her forever family so she can continue her education!

Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.

Additional adoption info

Are you interested in meeting one of our available animals? Please fill out the appropriate online application on our website. We will be in contact with you to arrange a meeting with the rescue pet you are interested in.

Please note that all of our rescue pets are in private foster homes and meetings will be coordinated with foster parents. Typically, after you meet the rescue pet, we will follow up with you to see how the meeting went. If a match is made, we can finalize the adoption quickly. Please note that we may require a home check as part of the application process. Thank you for your interest in our rescue pets!

Adoption fees are between $100 - $400 depending on animal, breed, age.
