My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Puffin is a beautiful, fun-loving puppy with a personality as big as her heart! 🐶💫 She's always on the go, having a blast running around the yard with her brother Penguin and her mom. Whether she's chasing toys 🧸 or playfully exploring, Puffin is always up for a good time!

But don't let her playful side fool you-Puffin is also a total cuddle queen 👑. She adores snuggling up with her humans, making her the perfect mix of fun and affection. 🥰

With a mom who has a heart of gold 💛 and a dad who's a gentle giant at over 100lbs 🏋️‍♂️, Puffin is expected to grow into a strong, loving dog. She's sure to bring a lifetime of joy, playfulness, and cuddles into any home!

If you're looking for a sweet, energetic puppy with a loving nature, Puffin might just be the perfect addition to your family! 🌟💙

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
