My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing M, aka Mama!

This purrfect torbie girl joined the AFRP family after Hitchcock Road Animal Services reached out for help with a mom cat and her litter of 8 nursing babies also known as our 007 crew! Now, after winning the mom of the year award, M and her kittens are ready to find their furever home!

M is a bit shy upon first meetings but given some time to warm up she's quite the charmer! She always made the effort to let her kittens play first before joining in herself! M is absolutely obsessed with feather toys and especially head scratches around her favorite time of the day - mealtime!

M would love to find her furever home with adult adopters or with families who have cat-savvy children over the age of 10 at this time. While she has done amazing with her own kittens it is currently unknown how she may be with other cats and dogs at this time. Any introductions to new animals in the home should be done slowly over time.

M is currently in foster care. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received, and approved. Please complete an onlline application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
