In July 2024 a family member spotted her outside of a tortilla shop in Mexicali, Mexico. Summers in the region are around 110 degrees and she was laying under a window a/c unit trying to stay cool. The family members were able to take her home that day and get her into a safe place. They estimated her to be around 3-4 months old.
In November 2024 my wife and I brought her from Mexico to Chicago in order to try and give her a better life. We flew to San Diego and drove for 4 days to bring her home.
We wanted to get her out of really poor conditions in Mexico for a chance at a better life in the US. She has all her vaccines but is not spayed yet (she hasnt had her first heat cycle). We would want an adopter to commit to spaying her (We can help with the cost if needed).
She is very sweet and will do well with an active person/family and/or somewhere with a yard. She sleeps through the night in a crate and is house-trained. She has not displayed any signs of reactivity or aggression
