Casey is a beautiful one-year old female Shepherd mix who was surrendered by her family on November 14, 2024.
This little sweetheart has a black/tan/white short smooth coat, a long curled tail, and the cutest face with dark brown eyes, tan eyebrows, a dusting of white on her long slender muzzle, and semi-erect ears.
Casey has a playful, outgoing personality and is merely an overgrown puppy. She is very active and wants attention more than anything else in the world (and is most likely the reason she lost her home since there were small children in her home).
These photos were taken on the afternoon of November 17th when HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren accompanied Casey for her outdoor glamour photos. True to her 'social butterfly' tendencies, Casey was in the height of her glory while Emma showered her with attention. Casey wasn't ready to pose for boring still-life pictures, but she graciously agreed to a few before prancing around (and sometimes standing upright on her hind paws).
Casey weighs 42 lbs and is rather energetic on a leash.
Casey will be spayed before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized. Casey could be fostered-to-adopt while she awaits her spay procedure with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.
