Adorable & Sassy Yorkipoo Looking for His Forever Home!
Please read the entire post on Bentley
Bentley – a 5-6 year old, 6 lb. bundle personality! This little Yorkipoo (or something similar) was once terrified at the shelter, but he's blossomed in his foster home, and now he’s ready to find his forever family!
Bentley is a playful, happy, and sassy boy who LOVES attention! Whether he’s snuggling on your lap or chasing a ball in the yard, he’s always up for fun. Bentley enjoys being the center of attention, and he’s not shy about letting other dogs know if they try to steal his spot on the couch or his treats While he gets along with other dogs and doesn’t mind sharing the home a laid back dog would be best. He would be just as happy as the only dog in the family, as long as he’s getting plenty of love.
Perfect for the Right Home:
Bentley NEEDS an experienced adopter. Someone who will be firm with him on the barking and being possessive of his humans.
Bentley is a lapdog through and through and is happiest when he’s with his humans, getting snuggles and kisses.
He loves playing ball and running around outside in the yard – a home with a fenced yard would be ideal but he is good on a leash as well.
He IS NOT suited for apartment living due to his barking tendencies when someone comes to the door or when other dogs are barking. It takes him a while to stop barking.
NO CHILDREN for Bentley! He has that typical small dog personality where when you run he may nip at your heels.
He’s a bit of a character – sassy and lots of personality but also super sweet!
Bentley is still working on being fully housetrained. He did just get neutered, so we’re hopeful that will help with his marking, but belly bands do the trick for now.
He has interest in cats not dangerously just annoying.
We are looking for someone who will work on his negative behaviors and invest in his future!

Once the adoption application is received, a home visit will be set up. If that goes well and is approved, then a vet check is completed (if the applicant has recently owned an animal, if not, two professional references will be required). Once both of those are approved, then the adoption fee will need to be paid.
