My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Toby and I am everything you could possibly want in a companion! I love to play, love to cuddle, love to get baths, and most of all, I love to make my people happy! Unfortunately, I was very neglected in my previous home. I came to the shelter with fleas, a pretty bad ear infection, and missing most of my fur from my shoulders to my tail! I am so glad that the nice ladies at Animal Control got ahold of me before the winter months did (they believe I was tied outside for years). They started me on medicated baths and got me into the Humane Society for the rest of my healing journey (it shouldn't take too long).  Although I have been given every reason to not trust people, I promise I still trust people and believe someone will give me the amazing home I have always deserved! I hope you stop by the shelter to meet with me and give me a chance. You will not regret it if you do!

Woof! Toby (If you look my picture up on Google, it says that I am a Styrian Coarse-haired Hound and a Retriever. Rescue Groups does not have that kind of dog under their "Breed" choices, so I am listed as a Hound/Retriever mix).
